Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih: man killed, wife injured

On March 5, the Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih resulted in a tragedy, where a man was killed and his wife sustained multiple injuries. This was reported by local media.

According to the deceased's daughter-in-law, Serhiy went out to the store with Iryna at the moment of the shelling, and he received fatal severe injuries near the hotel.

'Doctors literally pieced him together. Unfortunately, in the morning, his heart could not take it... Throughout the incident, the couple was conscious, and Serhiy’s wife Iryna was pleading for help. She is currently in the hospital in critical condition,' - eyewitnesses reported.

The woman lost a leg and sustained serious head injuries. Moreover, their home and their son's military residence were damaged by the shelling.

The attack on Kryvyi Rih occurred late at night on March 6. The death toll in the hotel rose to 4, with 31 injured, including one child. 19 people were rescued by emergency services.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the situation, stressing that a rescue operation is ongoing. Also, at the Time of the Russian attack, there were volunteers from various countries in the hotel.

At the same time, a tragedy also occurred in the city of Sumy. Russian terrorists attacked with drones, resulting in one person being killed. A warehouse caught fire, to which rescuers and medics promptly arrived.

It is worth noting that active searches and rescue operations are also ongoing in Kryvyi Rih, which suffered shelling from Russia. As a result of the attack, 28 people were injured, of whom 20 are in serious condition.
