The corresponding statement was made by violinist Bryan King Joseph. He filed a lawsuit against Will Smith and Treyball Studios Management, Inc. in the Superior Court of California back on December 30.

The violinist claims that Will Smith committed harassment, allegedly 'deliberately preparing him for further sexual exploitation' after inviting him to join the world tour 'Based on True Events: 2025', which is scheduled for November 2024, according to People magazine.

Unpleasant Events During the Tour

Bryan King Joseph recounts a series of unpleasant events that occurred during the tour. In March 2025, an unknown person broke into his hotel room without leaving any signs of a break-in. In the room, he found a note that said 'Bryan, I'll be back, it will just be us' with a drawn heart. Also found were tissues, a bottle of beer, a red backpack, HIV medication with another person's name, an earring, and documents regarding the discharge of an unknown hospital patient.

Emotional Suffering and Will Smith's Reaction

The musician notes that he feared the unknown person would return to his room and force him into sexual relations. Bryan claims he reported the incident to hotel staff, police, and Will Smith's team. However, he was dismissed from the actor's concert, allegedly being 'humiliated.'

In his statement, the violinist says that the incident led to severe emotional distress, economic loss, harm to his reputation, and other damages. Bryan also reports that his dismissal caused him to develop post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health issues.

Will Smith has already responded to these accusations through his attorney. He denies all allegations, calling them false, baseless, and reckless. The actor's lawyer states that the truth is on their side, and they are ready to prove it.
