For completing combat or special missions, servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are entitled to receive additional rewards. This is credited in two ways, depending on when this combat mission begins and ends.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Additional rewards for servicemen

Servicemen performing combat or special missions related to the protection of Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty are entitled to additional rewards. The reward is credited for the time spent on such missions.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that the payment is made in two different formats, depending on when the missions are performed.

How combat mission days are credited for payments

If a combat or special mission is performed from 00:00 to 24:00 of one day, the command credits one day for the serviceman's participation in this mission (and, accordingly, for the calculation of military assistance). However, if the mission started before 23:59 of one day and ended after 00:01 of the next, regardless of the duration of the mission and the number of hours, the serviceman should be credited with two days.

As a reminder, we previously wrote about the amount of additional payments for servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in July 2025.

Additionally, we reported who among the Ukrainian military could receive about 200,000 UAH in August 2025.
