Germany to Supply Weapons to Ukraine
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz announced the supply of weapons to Ukraine during his visit to the country. He also, together with President Volodymyr Zelensky, honored the memory of fallen soldiers. During the visit, the latest models with automatic detection and targeting systems were showcased, including drones, FPV drones, ground robotic complexes, and a drone swarm management system.
Protests in Georgia Against the Refusal to Negotiate EU Accession
Protests have been ongoing in Georgia for the fifth day. Georgians are protesting against the government's decision to abandon negotiations for EU accession until 2028. Despite police crackdowns, protesters continue to gather near the parliament.
Seizure of Property from Vyacheslav Boguslaev
The High Anti-Corruption Court in Ukraine has decided to confiscate the property of Vyacheslav Boguslaev, former president of the Motor Sich company. The ruling concerned buildings and structures of the complex located in the Zaporizhia region, as well as a 100% stake in the charter capital of the INNOVA company. This decision can be appealed in the Appellate Chamber of VAKS within five days.
Shooting from Lebanon
The Hezbollah group carried out mortar shelling on Israeli positions, violating the ceasefire regime. This occurred after a ceasefire agreement was reached. However, Hezbollah explained its actions by accusing Israel of violating the agreement.
New Aid Package from Germany
Ukraine will receive a new aid package from Germany, including new weapons. The package also includes the delivery of Patriot systems and Gepard self-propelled anti-aircraft systems. Germany is the second-largest partner of Ukraine with an aid amounting to about 28 billion euros.
