The Head of Sumy Region Urged Residents of Two Settlements to Evacuate Urgently.
Recommendations for evacuation from settlements in the Sumy region
The Head of Sumy Regional State Administration Mykhailo Melnyk advises residents of Bilopillya and Vorozhba in the Sumy region to urgently leave for safe places, as evacuation buses will run every day. To register for evacuation, residents can contact the authorities around the clock, and buses will transport people at 8 a.m. Additionally, those who have already evacuated and are in Sumy can register for monetary assistance, IDP status, and housing search at the evacuation transit center.
Not only has the Sumy region declared mandatory evacuation; the Krasnopillia community and individual settlements in the Yunakivka and Myropillia communities of the Sumy district have also made such decisions. The Mezhivska community in Dnipropetrovsk region has also declared mandatory evacuation for families with children starting from April 25, from the settlements of Kolona Mezova, Novopidhorodne, Raypole, and Sukhareva Balka.
