Diversion near the Russian Headquarters in Zaporizhia: 18 officers died in a fire.
According to inkorr.com: On August 30, a diversion occurred in Voskresenske, Zaporizhia region, resulting in the deaths of 18 officers of the 35th Combined Arms Army Headquarters of the Russian Federation. This information was published by the publication 'Glavkom' based on data from the project 'I want to live'.
Unknown individuals set fire to dry grass near the command point, leading to the rapid spread of fire to the premises and bunkers. Due to heavy smoke and carbon monoxide poisoning, the officers were unable to escape. Five bodies remained unevacuated.
List of those killed in the fire:
- deputy chief of staff of the missile troops and artillery department of the 35th Combined Arms Army, Colonel Makhotin Ilya Konstantinovich;
- deputy chief of the department - head of the general operational planning department of the 35th Combined Arms Army, Lieutenant Colonel Shigabutdinov Ruslan Gilmanovich;
- other officers.
Additionally, the bodies of five individuals have not been evacuated:
- deputy chief of intelligence - head of the intelligence department of the 35th Combined Arms Army, Lieutenant Colonel Konoyko Sergey Vladimirovich;
- assistant of the operational duty officer of the territorial management center of the 35th Combined Arms Army, Major Filimonikhin Vladimir Vyacheslavovich;
- other officers.
Furthermore, as a result of the actions of the saboteurs, communication towers near Krasnodar were damaged in Russia.
This fire, caused by a diversion near the 35th Combined Arms Army headquarters, became a tragedy, resulting in the deaths of 18 officers. The actions of unknown individuals not only led to human losses but also caused damage to important facilities in Russia, which may affect the further development of the conflict in the region.
