At Night, Russian Shaheds Were Shot Down in Belarus (video).
On the night of September 4 to 5, 2024, two Shahed strike drones from the Chernihiv region of Ukraine invaded the Gomel region of Belarus. According to the source "Belaruski Gayun", Belarusian military raised fighters into the air in response to the threat. At 01:30, a standby fighter was raised from Baranovichi airfield to intercept the drones. Explosions heard in the Gomel region indicate active anti-drone efforts.
This night, Russian UAVs attacked Belarus. As usual, the "Shaheds" flew into the territory of Russia as an ally state. According to "Belaruski Gayun", fighters were raised to shoot down the drones.

At 01:34 and 01:36, residents of the Gomel region heard sounds of explosions, which, according to preliminary data, are related to the work of air defense systems. Videos confirm that active anti-drone protection is taking place in the skies over Belarus.
At 02:20, a second Belarusian Air Force fighter was raised from the Baranovichi airfield, heading southeast for further monitoring and ensuring air security.
