'They are stalling': Trump acknowledged that Putin is 'delaying' a peace agreement with Ukraine.
US President Donald Trump stated in an interview with Newsmax that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be trying to stall the ceasefire with Ukraine. According to Trump, Russia wants to end its large-scale military aggression against Ukraine, but may be delaying the conclusion of agreements. He noted that he is not rushing to finalize the deal and remains in the game but is not convinced whether he intends to finalize it at all. Trump also stated that both Ukraine and Russia desire to end the war.
The President also assessed the weekly losses for both sides to be an average of 2500 servicemen and emphasized that he wishes for it to stop. Earlier, he had stated there was 'great progress' in negotiations for a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine.
