“Save the birthrate”. Musk offers his sperm to women who want children.
Elon Musk offers his sperm to women willing to bear his child
The founder of Tesla and SpaceX, Elon Musk, a well-known billionaire and owner of network X, is extensively offering his sperm to women who want to have his child. This news is reported by The New York Times and other media outlets.
Musk has been making these offers since last year when he proposed to former U.S. vice-presidential candidate Nicole Shanahan to become the mother of his child. Ms. Shanahan declined, but Musk continues to offer himself as a sperm donor to "friends and acquaintances."
Elon Musk has at least 12 children, but most of them were conceived through IVF. It is currently known that the billionaire is building a large "family complex" in Texas, where his descendants, born to women accepting his sperm donation offer, will live. Some are in "close proximity" to this complex, as Musk is buying up residential houses in order.
The number of women and families who have accepted Musk's proposal is unknown due to the confidentiality agreements he makes with them. Speaking about this, Musk noted in his 2015 biography that educated people do not have enough children, and he seeks to change this situation.
Elon Musk and his stance on birthrate
Over the past three years, Musk has expressed concern over the declining birthrate in the United States and other countries. In 2021, he donated $10 million to the University of Texas for research on birthrate and demographic trends.
It was reported that one of the reasons for Musk's move from California to Texas was a new law setting new school requirements for transgender students. Musk named this law as one of the reasons for his decision. Additionally, SpaceX employees filed lawsuits against him, accusing Musk of systematic harassment of women and members of the LGBT community.
Recall that Musk was required to attend court in Philadelphia after he promised to pay $1 million daily to a random voter supporting his petition backing amendments to the U.S. Constitution.
