Specifically in September, the average daily losses of the Russian Federation's troops in Ukraine reached a record level for the entire period of military actions. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom, citing intelligence data.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the average daily number of losses in September was 1,271 people per day, whereas the previous record was recorded in May - 1,262 people per day.

In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, the Russian army likely lost over 648,000 servicemen, claims British intelligence.

The increase in casualties since May is almost certainly related to the expansion of the combat zone in the Kharkiv and Kursk directions, as well as the increase in the intensity of hostilities along the front line.

Experts from the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom predict that Russian troops will continue attempts to stretch Ukrainian forces, using numbers to break through defensive positions and achieve tactical successes.

The number of Russian casualties is likely to remain predominantly above 1,000 people a day until the end of 2024, despite the coming winter.

Observers from the UK explained that weather conditions currently have not led to a reduction in offensive operations or the pace of losses, as Russia relies on infantry tactics and does not conduct a maneuverable war that requires better conditions.

Additionally, the insurgent movement "ATESH", operating in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, reports on inexperienced conscripts sent by the Russian command to the Dnipro direction, hiding losses after battles with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The "Dnipro" military group has started sending unprepared mobilized and conscripts to the Dnipro islands, who become easy targets due to lack of skills and preparation. Many of them die before reaching combat positions, drown in the Dnipro, or come under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Russian command hides the real losses, sending new fighters to certain death. Bodies of the dead are not removed, and loss data is concealed. All this is an attempt to maintain the appearance of control, which no longer exists.

It is also reported that Russian troops continue the offensive on the Kharkiv direction and along the entire front line. In the area of Hlyboke, the enemy strengthens its units and builds new fortifications to hold positions and continue the offensive. Russian military also strengthens positions and conducts engineering work in the Lukyaniv area. Near the settlement of Tyke, the enemy activates logistics measures. During the night, enemy forces conducted aerial reconnaissance to detect Ukrainian defense units.

Let us recall that 957 days have passed since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
