The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on new losses of Russian occupiers as of May 15, 2025.
Russia's losses in the war as of May 15, 2025
As of May 15, the Russian Federation lost:
- personnel ‒ over 970,590 people,
- tanks ‒ 10,812 units,
- armored fighting vehicles ‒ 22,514 units,
- artillery systems ‒ 22,872 units,
- MLRS ‒ 1,384 units,
- air defense systems ‒ 1,166 units,
- aircraft ‒ 372 units,
- helicopters ‒ 336 units,
- tactical-level UAVs ‒ 35,000 units,
- cruise missiles ‒ 3,197 units,
- ships/boats ‒ 28 units,
- submarines ‒ 1 unit,
- automotive equipment and fuel trucks ‒ 48,547 units,
- special vehicles ‒ 3,892 units.
Occupier fleet activity as of May 15
- No enemy ships in the Black Sea;
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov;
- There are three enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, one of which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles that can launch up to eight missiles simultaneously.
In the last 24 hours, three vessels passed through the Kerch Strait in favor of the Russian Federation:
- to the Black Sea ‒ three ships, one of which continued moving toward the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov ‒ seven ships, two of which were moving from the Bosphorus Strait.
We remind you that the full-scale war in Ukraine has been ongoing for the 1,177th day.
