The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the statistics on the losses of Russian occupiers as of the morning of Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

Russia's losses in the war as of November 20, 2024

As of November 20, Russia suffered the following losses in the war with Ukraine:

  • personnel - about 725740 (+1690) individuals,
  • tanks - 9390 (+8) units,
  • armored combat vehicles - 19119 (+27) units,
  • artillery systems - 20681 (+49) units,
  • MLRS - 1252 (+0) units,
  • air defense systems - 1001 (+2) units,
  • aircraft - 369 (+0) units,
  • helicopters - 329 (+0) units,
  • operational-tactical level UAVs - 19202 (+91),
  • cruise missiles - 2756 (+2),
  • ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
  • submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
  • automotive and fuel tankers - 29648 (+100) units,
  • special vehicles - 3674 (+2)

Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of November 20:

  • In the Black Sea, six enemy ships, which are carriers of cruise missiles 'Kalibr', with a total salvo of up to 23 missiles;
  • In the Sea of Azov, enemy ships are absent;
  • In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, which are carriers of cruise missiles 'Kalibr', with a total salvo of up to 24 missiles.

Over the past day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:

  • to the Black Sea - eight vessels, three of which continued their course towards the Bosphorus Strait;to the Sea of Azov - seven vessels, one of which was moving from the Bosphorus Strait.

Currently, the 1001st day of the full-scale war in Ukraine continues. 

As a reminder, the Russian Federation has managed to shoot down only two out of eight Atacms missiles that Ukraine launched at Russian territory on the night of November 19. A Reuters source stated that Ukraine attacked an ammunition depot with eight Atacms missiles. Of these, Russia managed to intercept two. Thus, the Russian Ministry of Defense once again lied, claiming to have shot down Ukrainian missiles.
