Every day at 9 a.m. Ukrainians honor the memory of all whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Leontiy Naumenko.
On November 27, 2024, near the village of Novodarivka in the Polohy District of Zaporizhzhia region, machine gunner Leontiy Naumenko of the 425th Separate Assault Battalion 'Skala' was killed while performing a combat task. He had previously been considered missing in action. This was reported by the Boyarsk City Council.
Leontiy Viktorovych Naumenko was born on February 9, 1982, in Boyarka. He later lived in the village of Zhornivka.
In 1998, he graduated from Knyazhytska Comprehensive School. He worked in furniture production. He loved to go hunting.
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, Leontiy joined the Boyarsk Volunteer Formation of the Territorial Community named after Yevhen Konovalets. He was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in October 2024.
In the memory of his family and friends, Leontiy Naumenko will remain a cheerful person, a good father and brother, as well as a loyal friend who always came to help.

The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes at the cemetery in Boyarka on December 18.
The fallen soldier left behind two children: a son, Mykyta, and a daughter, Polina.
