Considered missing since spring last year. Let's remember Andrii Bryukhovych.
Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Andrii Bryukhovych.
On March 30, 2024, defender Andrii Bryukhovych from Lviv fell in battle. This was reported by the Lviv City Council.
Andrii Bryukhovych was born on March 18, 1985, in Lviv. He studied at the former secondary school No. 83 (now - Ivan Puluj Lyceum of the Lviv City Council). He obtained an education in 'Engineering Mechanics and Equipment of the Forestry Complex' at the National Forestry University of Ukraine. Later, he received a second higher education at the same university.
After graduation, he worked for many years at the enterprises 'Brama' and 'LIMO'. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and mushroom picking.
After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he took up the defense of his homeland against the invaders. Initially, he carried out combat missions as part of the 420th separate rifle battalion, and later defended the state in the ranks of the 68th separate rifle brigade named after Olexa Dovbush of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought against the occupiers in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.
The funeral of the defender took place on January 14 at the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. The hero will be buried at Lychakiv Cemetery.
Andrii Bryukhovych left behind his mother, brother, sister, nieces and nephews, and godchildren.
We honor the memory of fallen Ukrainians
'Hlavkom' joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those killed by Russian invaders, light candles of remembrance, and bow our heads in grief during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of Ukrainian citizens who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of attacks by hostile troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
