Weather forecast in Ukraine: rains and thunderstorms
On September 13, Friday, meteorologists predict cloudy and rainy weather in Ukraine. Thunderstorms are also possible in some regions. However, the temperature will remain warm - up to +30°C in the east of Ukraine. This is reported by the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center.
Western regions of Ukraine will generally avoid rain, except for the Transcarpathia region, where downpours are possible. Daytime temperatures will rise to +21...+26°C. It will be cooler in the Carpathians - up to +15...+20°C.
Also, meteorologists warn of strong winds in the northeastern part of Ukraine. Its speed will be 15-20 m/s. In other regions, the southeast wind will be within 5-10 m/s.
In other regions of Ukraine, short-term rains and thunderstorms are also predicted. Daytime temperatures will rise to +23...+28°C. The hottest will be in the eastern regions - up to +30°C.
In the Kyiv region, the sky will be cloudy with clearings. Short-term rains and thunderstorms are possible. Southeast wind with a speed of 5-10 m/s. Daytime temperature - up to +23...+28°C. In the Ukrainian capital, the weather will also be refreshing. Sometimes rain is possible, but the air temperature will rise to +26+28 degrees.
Let us remind you, about 5600 tons of polluted water from a sugar factory in the Kursk region got into the Seim River. It will now take 2-3 years to restore the ecosystems of the Seim and Desna rivers. This was announced at a press conference by the director of the Institute of Hydrobiology of the NAS of Ukraine Serhiy Afanasiev and the director of UkrHMI SES and NAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Osadchyi.
According to updated data from the forecast of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center, the polluted water can approximately reach the Kyiv region on September 14-16.
