Dmytro Tymkovych, a defender of Ukraine, died on October 11, 2025. This was reported by

Dmytro was born on September 3, 1976, in the village of Chaikovichi in the Lviv region. He studied at secondary schools No. 54 and No. 91 in Lviv, and later received an education at the Higher Vocational School No. 20 in Lviv, specializing in "Service of machine tools with programmable control and robotic complexes".

Fight for the Homeland

According to relatives, Dmytro loved fishing, cooking, and was known for his kindness and caring nature. He was distinguished by his responsibility and perseverance.

After the start of the full-scale invasion, Dmytro took up the defense of Ukraine against Russian occupiers. He defended the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country on various fronts, being part of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura" of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Dmytro was awarded the badge of the 3rd class of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Mahura".

The soldier was buried on October 18, 2025, at the Lychakiv Cemetery in the field of Honorable Burials of modern heroes.

He left behind a son, a wife, a sister, and a brother.
