Animators' Salaries in 2026: Why Demand for the Profession Dropped by 31%.
Animators' Salaries in 2026: Why Demand for the Profession Dropped by 31%
According to Novyny.live: In January 2026, the average salary of an animator in Ukraine is 20,000 UAH, which is 5% higher compared to the beginning of 2025. Despite the salary increase, the demand for this profession has decreased by 31% over the year. This has led to a significant reduction in the number of vacancies in this field.
As of January 2026, there are only 63 vacancies available for animators on job portals, indicating a decline in interest in this profession. The situation at the Bukovel resort is even more complicated: there are currently only three vacancies available for animators. In the context of declining demand, employers are offering various pay conditions:
- One of the vacancies at the resort offers a rate of 900 UAH per shift,
- another provides 1,000 UAH per shift plus tips.
For those seeking long-term employment, there is a vacancy that offers a salary of 20,000 UAH but with a probation period at 18,000 UAH for a six-day work week. This indicates that despite the salary growth, the labor market for animators is undergoing changes, and competition for jobs is becoming increasingly fierce.
Conclusions and Market Trends
Thus, despite the increase in the average salary of animators, the decline in demand for this profession in 2026 indicates a need to adapt to new conditions in the labor market.
The decrease in demand for the animator profession may be related to several factors, such as changes in vacationers' preferences, economic difficulties, or the development of new forms of entertainment.
This creates a necessity for animators to develop new skills and adapt to changing market conditions in order to remain competitive. Accordingly, it is important to consider these trends when planning career paths in this field.
