Was the bail paid for Borysov or not: the lawyer denied the information about 44 million.
According to inkorr.com: The former head of the Odessa regional territorial recruitment and social support center, Yevhen Borysov, was set a bail of over 44 million hryvnias. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', citing 'RBK-Ukraine'.
No one has posted the bail. He is still in the pre-trial detention center. There is no such money
Borysov's lawyer, Oleksandr Makovetskyi, emphasized in a comment to 'Suspilne' that the information about the bail being posted is false, as Yevhen Borysov continues to remain in the detention center. In addition, he noted that the Kyiv Court of Appeals decided to raise the amount of bail for the former head to 45.42 million hryvnias.
Scandalous revelations
Earlier, journalists learned about Yevhen Borysov's attempts to obtain a disability group, as well as discovering property and an office in Spain belonging to his mother and wife.
Thus, according to the court ruling, the bail for the former head of the Odessa TCC is 45.42 million hryvnias. However, his lawyer denies the information about the bail being posted, and Borysov continues to remain in the detention center, while a mansion belonging to his mother and wife has been found in Spain.
This situation highlights the seriousness of the corruption problem among law enforcement agencies and raises questions about the transparency of the bail appointment process and control over such cases. The continuation of investigations may lead to new revelations and impact the reputation of the defense system and law enforcement agencies in Ukraine.
