The USA is trying to force Russia to negotiate through arms supply: what NATO ambassador says.
According to Matthew Wittaker, the US ambassador to NATO, Americans are trying to influence Russia by providing NATO allies with the latest weapons, which then reach Ukraine to encourage Russia to engage in peace negotiations.
Matthew Wittaker stated this on social media.
How US weapons will contribute to negotiations
Wittaker stated that the supply of American weapons to NATO allies could help force Russia to come to the negotiating table and ultimately stop the fire.
It is noted that the US produces the most advanced weapons in the world, allowing Ukrainian troops to respond to Russian aggression.
At the same time, Wittaker emphasized that President Trump has pointed out that this war cannot be ended solely by military actions. Lasting peace can only be achieved through negotiations.
It was also reported that Stephen Wittkoff, Donald Trump's special representative, plans to visit Moscow after a trip to Israel.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that earlier this week, American officials held talks with Russia, but there is still a long way to go before any progress.
The US ambassador to NATO shared information about the strategy of American influence on Russia through arms supply and the initiation of negotiations, encouraging a peaceful resolution of the conflict.Read also
