The Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky reported that on Tuesday, August 12, he heard reports from the military. They spoke about the situation at the front, especially near Dobropillya and in the Pokrovsk direction.
This was stated by the head of state in an evening address.
The situation at the front
The head of state noted that steps have been taken near Dobropillya and in the Pokrovsk direction to correct the situation.
Zelensky thanked each unit and soldier who is destroying Russian occupiers.
'Positions in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy — everywhere we are trying to provide Ukraine with the protection it needs', he emphasized.
Work with partners
Zelensky also held a meeting with the Office of the President and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He announced new steps to further mobilize partners.
'I want to specifically mention our agreements with the Netherlands — they are one of the leaders in support for Ukraine in Europe, and we are preparing more things that will strengthen us. In particular, this concerns drones', Zelensky stated.
Recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the current situation in the Dobropillya and Pokrovsk directions of the front.
Earlier, the media reported that Russian occupiers had begun a sudden breakthrough in the Donetsk region near the city of Dobropillya ahead of negotiations.
