Zelensky announced a meeting with Trump: possible date already this autumn.

According to ТСН: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that after the completion of the finalization of the documents, the delegations of Ukraine and the United States may meet soon, specifically on the weekend of December 20–21.

The head of state shared this information during a conversation with Ukrainian journalists.

Planned consultations

According to Zelensky, after the final preparation of the Ukrainian documents, there will be consultations between the USA and the Russian side. Then the American side will hold separate discussions with the President of the United States, after which a meeting of the negotiation teams of Ukraine and the USA is planned.

“I believe that when we finalize the documents or get closer to the final version of the documents, we will meet with him (the President of the United States Donald Trump - ed.)”

We remind you that earlier Zelensky detailed the elections and the possibility of a referendum on the peace agreement.

This meeting could become an important step in the further development of Ukrainian-American relations and within the framework of the peace process. The readiness of both sides for dialogue is also essential, which, in turn, may positively influence the situation in the region.
