On Monday, July 7, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with Maya Rinecker, President of the Swiss National Council. 'We discussed our work with partners. I thanked her for the visit to Ukraine and the allocated 5 billion francs for the reconstruction of the country,' Zelensky wrote on Facebook.
During the meeting, they discussed the international situation, Swiss assistance, and the issue of abducted children. 'We hope for support in bringing all children home,' the president noted.
Earlier that day, Zelensky spoke about his conversation with the Prime Minister of the UK and reached out to partners regarding Russian attacks on Ukraine, explaining plans to strengthen air defense.
The meeting of the President of Ukraine with the President of the Swiss National Council was aimed at discussing cooperation between the countries and humanitarian assistance issues. Zelensky had also actively communicated with other international partners about security and the situation in eastern Ukraine.Read also
