Zelensky and Tusk agreed on joint defense projects: details of the negotiations.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. During the conversation, issues of cooperation in the field of security, peace initiatives, support for Ukrainians, and the processes of Eurointegration were discussed.
Details of the conversation with Tusk
According to Zelensky, they agreed to enhance cooperation to ensure peace in Europe. The President also shared information about contacts with Donald Trump and other European leaders and emphasized the importance of joint actions to protect common interests.
'We talked about regulatory changes in Poland that have affected Ukrainian students and applicants. In times of war, this is especially important. I asked Donald to consider this situation and support Ukrainian youth.', Zelensky emphasized.
They also discussed the negotiation process regarding Ukraine's membership in the European Union and the importance of opening the negotiation cluster for Ukraine and Moldova simultaneously in Eurointegration.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to Tusk for his support. It is worth noting that the Ukrainian president discussed cooperation issues with other European leaders, such as Giorgia Meloni from Italy and Friedrich Merz from Germany.
