Ukraine is ready to open the first negotiation cluster within the process of joining the European Union, said the country's president Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in Rome.
Zelensky emphasized that Ukraine has fulfilled all necessary conditions to move towards Eurointegration and hopes for support from the Ukrainian parliament and European partners.
Step towards Europe
The opening of the negotiation cluster may soon take place, which will be an important step for Ukraine on its path to joining the European Union. Other relevant cooperation issues between the countries were also discussed at the meeting.
