Zelensky and the President of Latvia Discussed Euro-Integration and Europe's Security.

Recently, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky had a phone conversation with the President of Latvia, Edgars Rinkēvičs. They discussed many important issues: diplomatic contacts, Ukraine's path to the European Union, as well as security in Europe. Latvia confirmed its readiness to support Ukraine on its path to the EU and NATO and to join the new PURL tool.Zelensky also emphasized the importance of having a unified opinion in Europe and support from the USA to achieve stability on the continent. The discussion also concerned the Ukrainian euro-integration path. In particular, Zelensky pointed out that Ukraine has met all necessary requirements to open the first negotiation cluster with the EU simultaneously with Moldova.Furthermore, the parties discussed the implementation of the new PURL tool, which is already functioning in practice, and agreed on coordinating international efforts. In recognition of their joint work and support, Zelensky thanked Latvia for its willingness to join this initiative.
