Status of Taurus Missile Deliveries to Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Germany has not yet made a final decision on supplying Taurus long-range cruise missiles to Ukraine. He made this announcement during a press conference held in Munich on February 14th. Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukraine could still receive the Taurus missiles from Germany if a positive decision is reached.
The President noted that Taurus missiles are not the only weapon system Ukraine requires. He stressed that the war is ongoing and that no affirmative answer has been received from the German side at this time.
"I must find a balance in dialogue. I choose what I can obtain now," the President added.The Taurus system is a highly capable, air-launched weapon with a significant range, which would represent a major upgrade to Ukraine's arsenal.
