Threat of gas deficit: Zelensky's response

According to inkorr.com: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed concern about a potential gas deficit in the country this winter. He noted that it would not be difficult for Ukraine to consider options for gas imports if the need arises. Plans have already been created to raise 2 billion dollars for the purchase of blue fuel.

"Agreements between Prime Minister Svyrydenko and energy companies in America are also positive. We understand where to get gas worth about 2 billion dollars. If we need it," Zelensky emphasized.

He also noted that American energy companies are showing interest in the Ukrainian market. The President pointed out the presence of positive agreements with partners from Slovakia and other countries regarding gas supply and financing energy projects.

Plans for the future

Zelensky also shared ideas for cooperation with American partners in the field of nuclear energy and the oil and gas industry. He emphasized the possibility of constructing new energy units and developing partnerships with the United States.

Despite the challenging situation with gas, Ukraine is actively seeking ways to ensure its energy security and establish cooperation with international partners in this important field.

The broad interest in the Ukrainian market from international companies, as well as the government's readiness to import gas, indicates Ukraine's active efforts in the context of the energy crisis. Partnership with neighboring countries and the USA could play a key role in stabilizing the energy situation this winter season.
