According to FREEДOM:
Discussion of the situation at the front
On August 26, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with military leadership to analyze the situation at the front. In his Telegram, he shared the main points of the discussion.
According to him, the meeting focused on key needs in various directions and units.
“It is very important that the nature of the situation in the border areas of Sumy and Kharkiv regions is determined by our units... Of course, we pay due attention to Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions. We discussed the needs for additional supplies specifically for these directions. The Commander-in-Chief reported on the implementation of the decisions of the Headquarters regarding the provision of reserves for defense forces,” noted Zelensky.
Cooperation with partners
The president also reported on the briefing regarding cooperation with international partners within the framework of the “coalition of the willing.”
“Several relevant meetings and working contacts are planned over the week. We noted that we need to accelerate the dynamics of work. The defense component of security guarantees must be detailed in the near future,” summarized the President of Ukraine.
According to other data, in the past day, there were 174 combat engagements at the front. The Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region remains one of the most challenging, constantly under strong pressure from the enemy.
The situation at the front requires constant attention and prompt response, and cooperation with international partners must remain a priority for Ukraine in this difficult struggle for security and independence. Important decisions made at the meeting could significantly impact the development of events in the region in the coming days.
