Meeting of Zelensky and the President of Argentina Milei in Davos
The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the President of Argentina Javier Milei at the Ukrainian House in Davos. Zelensky thanked Milei for his support in the fight against Russian aggression and discussed joint steps to achieve peace.
'You are a very anticipated guest in Ukraine. I invite you to meet the Ukrainian people; they love you very much. I want you to see with your own eyes how Ukrainians fight and what they endure during this war. And I really want Ukrainians to feel how much you respect them,' Zelensky noted.
The leaders also discussed recent events and cooperation with the USA after Donald Trump's inauguration. Zelensky noted Argentina's successes in implementing economic reforms, reducing poverty and inflation levels, as well as liberalizing foreign trade.
The heads of state also discussed the prospects of trade and economic cooperation and agreed on further contacts at the highest level.
Recall that Zelensky spoke about the peacekeeping role of the USA and the importance of mobilization.
