According to UATV: On June 28, Alexander Lukashenko traveled to Vladimir Putin's residence at Valdai for two days of high-stakes negotiations between the leaders of Belarus and Russia. The primary goal of Lukashenko's visit was to align positions with the Kremlin and craft a joint strategy to counter diplomatic pressure from Ukraine. According to expert Mykhailo Synayuk, Lukashenko is actively trying to sidestep deeper integration with Russia, as he has no interest in hosting military installations on Belarusian soil.
