Ukrainian President Meets Expert Team in Qatar to Strengthen Security Ties
According to UATV: On March 28, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with a Ukrainian expert delegation in Qatar, focusing on regional security challenges and the outcomes of their collaboration. This high-level discussion highlighted the critical role of Ukrainian specialists in enhancing safety in the region.
Zelenskyy emphasized that the Ukrainian team is actively working in Qatar, sharing its battlefield-tested knowledge and technical expertise. He noted that during his conversation with Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, it was crucial to hear firsthand the Emir’s strong praise and sincere gratitude for the Ukrainians’ advisory work.
"During my meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, it was fundamentally important for me to personally hear such high recognition of our people’s efforts and their heartfelt thanks for the consultations they provided," - Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Addressing Key Security Threats
The discussion also covered major security threats, particularly missile and drone attacks, which pose serious challenges in the region. The President underscored that Ukraine possesses proven experience that can benefit Qatar, as these solutions have already been validated under real combat conditions.

Zelenskyy pointed to Qatar’s genuine interest in Ukraine’s expertise, stating: "We see a real interest from Qatar in our experience, because these solutions have already been tested in the realities of war." Concluding the meeting, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed the urgent need to restore stability in the region to protect civilians from terrorist strikes. "It is extremely important to restore stability in the region so that people do not suffer from Iranian terrorist attacks," he summarized. The visit culminated in the launch of joint defense projects, signaling deeper cooperation between Ukraine and Qatar.
