Ukrainian President Engages with Experts in Qatar
According to Novyny.live: Volodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine’s president, met with Ukrainian specialists stationed in Qatar who focus on enhancing security and countering aerial threats. During the meeting, Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, expressed gratitude for the consultations provided by these Ukrainian professionals. This partnership has become increasingly significant given the current security landscape in the region.
Security Situation Reviewed
The Ukrainian experts in Qatar conducted a broad assessment of the security environment, paying particular attention to challenges posed by ballistic missile and drone strikes.
“Ballistic and drone strikes represent the greatest challenge in the region,” Volodymyr Zelensky stated.He also emphasized Ukraine’s willingness to share its expertise with other nations:
“Ukraine has consistently said that we are ready to share our expertise and assist those who, in turn, can help us strengthen our own defense.”
Notably, Ukraine has deployed 228 of its experts across the Middle East, including in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates. These efforts aim to bolster regional security and facilitate the exchange of knowledge on countering modern threats. Collaboration with Middle Eastern countries could become a key element in building a shared security strategy tailored to today’s challenges.
This meeting underscores Ukraine’s proactive role in international security matters, particularly through cooperation with nations facing similar threats.
