Zelensky to Hold Talks with EU Leaders in Rome.
In Rome, on July 10, the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2025) started, which will last for two days. The President of Ukraine will hold several important meetings with international leaders and partners.
In particular, negotiations are planned with the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni, the head of the Finnish government Petteri Orpo, the Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof, the Chancellor of Germany Friedrich Merz, and the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk. In addition, Zelensky will meet with the Director General of the IAEA Rafael Grossi and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham.
Main Areas of the Conference
URC2025 focuses on four key aspects: engaging the private sector in the recovery process of Ukraine and supporting economic development, supporting social sectors and investing in human capital, recovery at local and regional levels, and advancing towards Eurointegration and related reforms.
The organizers reported that nearly one hundred governmental delegations and forty representatives of international organizations, including financial structures, are participating in the conference.
URC2025 aims not only to discuss mechanisms for post-war recovery but also to demonstrate political support for Ukraine from the international community, particularly on its path to membership in the European Union.
