Zelensky on victory without the US: No, we won't be able to defend the sky.
According to ТСН: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed confidence that without the support of the United States of America, the country will not be able to win the war against the Russian Federation.
The importance of American assistance
In an interview with Fox News, Zelensky noted:
"If we ask: can we win without American support? No. Without American support, we cannot defend the sky. Even now, it is very difficult. America's support with missiles for air defense is very useful and powerful. On the battlefield, we use weapons that we buy from America — ammunition, artillery, etc. Without this, we will not be able to win".
The complexity of conducting combat operations
Zelensky also emphasized that Russia is using a large number of drones and missiles, complicating the air defense situation, even considering the current assistance.
Intelligence data from the US
It is worth noting that earlier the head of the GUR Kirilo Budanov emphasized the importance of the intelligence information provided to Ukraine by the United States. He noted that Ukraine is critically dependent in two areas — space imaging as well as radar and optical, while in other aspects of intelligence, the country mainly relies on its own resources.
These comments demonstrate how crucial the efforts of international partners are for the Ukrainian army in the ongoing conflict. Support from the United States, particularly in the fields of defense and intelligence, remains critically important for Ukraine in its struggle for independence.
