Zelensky imposed new sanctions against the Russian Federation: who is included in the list.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has already signed two new decrees on sanctions against Russia that have come into effect.
Sanctions against Russia
According to decrees No. 579/2025 and No. 580/2025 on the website of the President's Office, the first package of sanctions concerns 62 individuals and companies involved in the illegal export of grain from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, as well as in the illegal extraction and use of natural resources.
The second decree targets 15 heads of Russian museums who, according to Zelensky, have appropriated Ukraine's cultural values and are trying to assimilate occupied Ukrainian museums into the system of the Russian Federation.
It is reminded that on August 3, Zelensky imposed sanctions against the captains of the Russian 'shadow fleet'.
And on July 27, the Ukrainian leader implemented sanctions against dozens of individuals and legal entities, including from Russia.
Zelensky continues to intensify pressure on Russia by introducing new sanctions due to its actions in temporarily occupied territories and attempts to assimilate Ukraine's cultural values.
