Ukrainian President Meets with Security Service Leadership
According to Novyny.live: On January 19, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy received a briefing from the former head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Maliuk, concerning operations against the Russian Federation in the ongoing war. Zelenskyy announced this meeting via his Telegram channel. He emphasized that the SBU and other state agencies possess all necessary resources to fulfill their duties. This high-level security meeting underscores the continued focus on defensive and offensive measures in the conflict.
During the meeting, President Zelenskyy also held talks with the new head of the SBU, Yevhen Khmar. Furthermore, he received a report from the First Deputy Head of the SBU, Oleksandr Poklad. The President stressed that the Security Service of Ukraine and other state structures are fully resourced, concluding with the statement:
