Meeting of Zelensky, Trump, and Putin
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, promised to discuss territorial issues during the trilateral meeting with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin.
On Monday, August 18, the head of the Ukrainian state announced this during a visit to Washington.
'We will discuss territorial issues during the trilateral meeting,' Zelensky stated.
He also showed several nuances on the map that was unfolded in the White House.
As a note, Donald Trump confirmed that Russia is ready to provide security guarantees for Ukraine. Furthermore, the US president noted that Russian leader Putin is also in favor of ending the full-scale war in Ukraine.
During his visit to Washington, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated his intention to discuss territorial issues with the presidents of the USA and Russia, emphasizing the importance of the trilateral meeting. Donald Trump confirmed Russia's willingness to provide security guarantees for Ukraine and also expressed the opinion that Volodymyr Putin wants to end the conflict in eastern Ukraine.Read also
