In Ivano-Frankivsk region, a woman expelled her father from home and demanded money. The court decided that she was guilty and placed her under probation for one year.
Woman committed violence against her father — how she was punished by the court
According to the case materials, the accused is a mother of two children whom she raises without a husband. She has undergone drug treatment and has previous administrative fines for domestic violence. Over the past year, she has driven her father out of the house, insulted him, demanded money, and even threatened him with physical harm.
Court verdict
During the trial, the woman admitted her guilt and added that she is in a difficult financial situation and is a single mother. The court decided to place her under probation for one year, as well as to undergo a program for offenders. She will have to regularly check in, notify of changes in her place of residence, and not leave the country without permission.
In other news, it is reported that the courts in Kyiv and Lviv have also made important decisions regarding criminal cases related to pornography and harassment in the workplace.
