According to inkorr.com: During a massive air attack, Russian troops used kamikaze drones and cruise missiles to attack the Zhytomyr region. This was reported by the head of the Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration, Vitaliy Bunechko.

According to the official, as a result of the strikes, one person was killed, and another was injured. Several civilian enterprises and private homes were damaged. Currently, efforts to eliminate the consequences of the enemy attack are ongoing.

Dangerous nighttime attack

At night, the occupiers again attacked Ukraine, leading to the announcement of missile danger due to rocket launches.

Last night, the enemy heavily attacked the territory of Ukraine with strike drones and X-101, X-59, 'Kalibr' missiles. According to monitoring channels, the main targets of the missiles were Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kalush, Lviv. The targets of the strike UAVs were Poland, Lutsk, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Donetsk region, and Odesa region.

During the massive attack, several Russian strike drones crossed the border and entered the territory of Poland. The 'Shaheeds' entered the airspace of Ukraine, heading towards the Polish settlement of Zamość, located approximately 60 km from the border. This city is strategically important as a key transport and logistics hub. Subsequently, the drones were shot down.

As a result of the enemy attack in the Zhytomyr region, civilians and enterprises were affected, requiring the elimination of the consequences and addressing threats to peaceful residents.

This latest attack confirms the escalating nature of threats from Russian troops and particularly highlights the high level of risk for the civilian population. Authorities are actively working to mitigate the consequences and ensure the safety of residents in the region.
