The Cabinet approved a list of positions that require knowledge of the English language

The government has adopted a resolution approving the list of civil service positions of categories 'B' and 'V' for which candidates must have knowledge of the English language. This is reported on the official website of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the decision, a list of positions has been approved for which candidates must know the English language. It is also determined that the heads of government bodies will have the authority to approve this list in each specific body.

The list includes positions of heads of government bodies and other positions of civil service that are specified by functional orientation.

It is worth noting that the resolution will come into effect 4 years after the termination or cancellation of martial law.

Ukrainians' salaries have increased, but the deputy advises changing jobs

People's deputy Anatoliy Kostyukh, a representative of the 'Servant of the People' faction, advises Ukrainians with low salaries to look for new jobs.

According to the National Bank, in the third quarter of 2024, real salaries of Ukrainians on average exceeded the pre-war level by 7.2%, taking into account inflation. IT specialists became the leaders in salary growth, with an increase of 45%.

At the same Time, the salaries of Ukrainian officials increased by 61% from January to November 2024. According to the Ministry of Finance, the average salary of officials in central government bodies was UAH 62,000. This is 3.4 times higher than the average salary level in the country.
