The Russian army attacked Konotop in the Sumy region

As a result of the strikes by the Russian army on Konotop in the Sumy region, two people were hospitalized. This was reported by the mayor, Artem Semenikhin, on his Telegram channel.

According to Semenikhin, the exact number of victims is still unknown. Reported appeals from the victims continue to arrive, and all surgeons in the city are at work. In particular, one of the hospitalized individuals is in very critical condition - in a coma. This person was on their way to rescue people from the consequences of the attack.

Semenikhin urged the residents of Konotop to stock up on water, as the water supply will be stopped for some Time. The schedule for the restoration of the water supply will be published in the morning. The mayor also organized the evacuation of affected residents to temporary accommodation locations.

The situation with electricity supply is also critical. The city's power system infrastructure sustained significant damage. Currently, energy workers are doing everything possible to provide power to hospitals and the water utility, but the exact time for restoring the electricity supply is unknown.

Terrorists supported by the Russian Federation also destroyed a section of tram tracks in the center of Konotop, so tram movement will be limited.

The total number of damaged educational institutions is still unknown, but mainly windows and doors are damaged. Tomorrow, kindergartens will operate in on-duty mode, and hospital buildings have broken windows, but medical equipment is unaffected. Hospitals will not be closed.

The Russian army continues to attack residential areas in the center of Konotop. Shelling continues in other populated areas as well. Due to the alarm in the Khmelnytsky region, explosion sounds were heard. Anti-aircraft forces are also operating in the Poltava region.
