Ukrainian Armed Forces deploy a new system to counter Shaheds: how they strengthen air defense.
The efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the fight against Russian drones
According to inkorr.com: The Ukrainian military is actively improving the defense system against attacks from Russian drones, such as 'Shahed' and 'Geran'. This became known from a report by 'Glavkom', citing Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskiy.
At a recent meeting, the commander-in-chief was briefed on the effectiveness of intercepting drones and discussed ensuring military personnel are equipped with various types of drones.
"Our common task is to train more crews, teach more fighter operators, and provide them with the latest equipment and radar systems," he noted.
Ukraine is looking for effective ways to protect against attacks from Russian drones and missiles, which requires support from the United States. President Zelensky is consulting with European partners and President Trump on this important issue.
"Defense against drones is a strategically important task for our state and the Armed Forces. The effectiveness of our 'anti-Shahed' system and missile defense directly affects the country's security. Therefore, we continue to refine crews to combat drones and create new units," emphasized the commander-in-chief.
Additionally, Ukrainian specialist in electronic warfare and communications Serhiy 'Flash' Bezkrustnov demonstrated evidence that China is a major supplier of high-tech components for Russian military hardware.
Thus, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to improve the defense system against Russian drones, strengthening crews and forming new units for effective counteraction to attacks. The country is also reaching out to international partners, particularly the U.S., for support in this critically important matter. The introduction of new protective measures is of strategic significance for ensuring Ukraine's security.
