The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled an attack by Russian troops in the village of Kruglenkoye in Kursk. This was reported by the DeepState project.

At the same Time, the enemy continues to advance near Vozdvizhenske, Novoelizavetivka, Novovasylivka, Dachenske, Shevchenko, Hryhorivka, Toretske, and Nelipivka.

Let us remind you that on December 24, Russian troops occupied Makariivka, Sukhi Yaly, and Zelenivka. This was reported by the DeepState project.

It is noted that the occupiers continue to expand their positions near Staryi Terniv, Novodaryivka, Vovkove, Novovasylivka, Novoelizavetivka, Novoolelivka, Ukrainka, Zora, Storozhove, and Kurakhove.

According to the information, the Russian leader Vladimir Putin has apparently issued instructions to the occupiers to seize new territories in the east, temporarily abandoning the capture of Pokrovsk. An attack on cities with strong defenses, such as Pokrovsk, could slow down the advance of Russian troops at a critical moment of 'Kremlin's geopolitical victory.'

As is known, people's deputy Mariyana Bezugla stated that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi plans to mobilize DeepState analysts and shut down the project. This information was confirmed by the DeepState team.

Also, if the UAF retreat from the Kursk region, where battles are currently ongoing, Russian troops will pursue them into the territory of Ukraine. The enemy will have better chances and will be able to advance faster if the Ukrainian troops weaken their presence in Kursk. This was stated by General Viktor Muzhenko, former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (2014-2019), in an interview with Radio Liberty.
