Warriors of the 118th separate mechanized brigade destroyed a Russian drone 'Orlan', which carried two FPV drones under its wings. The anti-aircraft gunners reported this on Facebook, informs FREEДОМ.
The Ukrainian soldiers noted that the Russians have started using the 'Orlan' unmanned aerial vehicle as a 'mother': small FPV drones are attached under the wings of such a drone. However, the anti-aircraft gunners managed to effectively shoot down this drone, emphasizing the control over the sky above Ukraine by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Before this, the pilots of the chasing squad had already shot down dozens of enemy scouts — 'Orlan', Zala, and Supercam — but the 'mother' was destroyed for the first time,” emphasized the 118th Mechanized Brigade.
Let us remind you that Ukrainian intelligence reported that Russia is actively using a new drone with wireless fast communication and the ability for remote control in various directions of the front.
