Russian Aggression in Eastern Ukraine

According to inkorr.com: In an interview with 'Glavkom', Hero of Ukraine Valentin Manko shared that Russian troops had been preparing for an autumn offensive for a year, focusing on several fronts, including Pokrovsk, Zaporizhia, and Novopavlivka.

Colonel Manko noted that the situation in the Pokrovsk sector has become more stable. The enemy was surrounded near Dobropillya, despite attempts to deploy elite units of the Russian Federation. However, according to him, the situation remains under control.

“The Russians are throwing their best forces there – as happened in Kursk, they are bringing in Airborne brigades, marines, trying to unblock their troops. As for advancing further in this sector, I believe they don’t even dream of that,” he said.

On the Novopavlivka front, the Russians are trying to advance towards Pokrovsk and Mykhailivka, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are controlling the situation and actively responding to enemy attacks.

In the Zaporizhia region, the enemy concentrated two armies in an attempt to break through to Kamianske and Prymorske, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to halt their advance. Especially effective are the 33rd and 210th separate assault regiments, which are conducting repeated clean-ups and preventing the enemy from establishing a foothold in these areas.

During the interview, Valentin Manko emphasized the Russians' readiness for an offensive in eastern Ukraine and confirmed the stabilization of the situation due to the efforts of the Ukrainian military in certain sections of the front. The Russian Federation continues to attempt to move forward, but the actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine effectively deter the enemy's advance.

This information highlights how complex the situation remains in eastern Ukraine. It is important that field commanders and military experts such as Valentin Manko strive to provide a clear picture of the dynamics of combat operations. Currently, Ukrainian forces manage to control the situation, but the threat from Russia remains high, and it is crucial to continue monitoring developments in the region.
