Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in Donetsk region
According to inkorr.com: Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported that the military operation to defend Donetsk region is ongoing. Ukrainian forces have already regained control over seven settlements and detected and destroyed enemy sabotage groups in nine of them.
The advance of our troops into the enemy's defense is from three to seven kilometers. During the operation, we managed to liberate 160 km² and clear 171 km² of saboteurs. The losses of the Russian aggressor amount to 2456 individuals, of which 1322 are irreversible.
The general also noted that it has been possible to significantly increase the 'exchange fund' for the release of Ukrainian defenders from captivity. Russian forces lost 817 units of weapons and equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, artillery, multiple launch rocket systems, vehicles, motorcycles, and other specialized equipment.
Situation on the front line between Ukrainian and Russian forces
Ukraine is in the 1304th day of full-scale war. Russian forces carried out 55 airstrikes, using guided bombs and kamikaze drones. There were also numerous shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements.
On September 19 alone, there were 124 combat clashes. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to actively fight against the plans of Russian occupiers and are trying to weaken their military capabilities.
