On March 4, five news items are on our list:The first news is about the suspension of military aid from the US. President Donald Trump ordered the cessation of military assistance to Ukraine, including missiles for air defense and ammunition. President Zelensky noted that this is not the first Time the US has halted military aid to Ukraine, but last time it was quickly restored.Ukraine has received various signals regarding the suspension of aid, including humanitarian and energy assistance.President Zelensky ordered the Minister of Defense, intelligence chiefs, and diplomats to contact their counterparts in the US and obtain official information regarding the cessation of American assistance.

The second news reports on the plan for Europe's rearmament presented by the President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen. She stated that Europe must take more responsibility for its security and proposes to use EU financial resources to increase defense spending of member states.

The third news concerns the introduction of new tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico to the US. President Trump imposed tariffs related to national security, particularly in the fight against illegal drug trafficking. Washington accused the Mexican government of insufficient efforts against drug cartels, which has allowed criminal organizations to expand their operations in Canada.

The fourth news reports an attack on important facilities in Russia by defense forces. Oil pumping infrastructures of the occupiers in the Rostov region and an oil refinery in the Samara region were attacked. There were also explosions in the vicinity of gas pipelines in the Rostov region.
