Day of Remembrance of the Holy Martyrs AkEPSIM, Joseph, and AyTal
On November 3, the Orthodox Church commemorates the three holy martyrs who suffered for their faith in the 4th century during the persecutions organized by the Persian king Shapur II.
The Holy Martyr AkEPSIM, being a bishop, led a pious life. In old age, he was arrested and demanded to renounce Christ, but he remained steadfast. For this, he was subjected to cruel tortures.
The Holy Martyr Joseph was a presbyter, and the Holy Martyr AyTal was a deacon. They were students of AkEPSIM and also showed great resilience during their arrest.
All three saints remained steadfast in the face of torment and died, confirming their faith with martyr's death.

Strengthen us in faith, grant us the strength of spirit that we may withstand temptations and enemies. Ask the Lord for us forgiveness of sins, peace, and blessings.
Amen
