Ukraine produced over a million UAVs for the first Time in a year
Ukraine released over a million unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in 2024. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his New Year's address.
The President emphasized the importance of developing the national defense industry and science that made Ukraine stronger in 2024. According to him, 30% of all combat assets used on the battlefield were produced in Ukraine.
«30% of everything that this year was with our guys on the battlefield - all of it was made in Ukraine. And at one such plant, I asked a young engineer: «How did you manage to do so much, how could those people achieve so much?». And the guy joked: «Well, these aren’t just people, they are rockets». And you know, at that moment, I felt ashamed as a citizen that since the 90s the state did not notice such our people. And I am proud when all year long, meeting with them, I hear: they are happy to be needed by Ukraine», - he shared.Zelensky added that Ukraine must teach the enemy in Ukrainian.

In the last day, the enemy carried out five missile strikes (25 missiles) and eight aviation strikes, using 376 kamikaze drones. There were also over 2500 shellings of our military positions and settlements.
In total, since the beginning of the day, there have been 188 combat clashes. Ukrainian defenders continue to resolutely repel the enemy's attempts to advance deep into our territory and inflict fire damage on them.
