A round-the-clock power shutdown schedule is being introduced in Ukraine: details.
According to inkorr.com: In the near future, restrictions on electricity consumption will be implemented in all regions of Ukraine due to Russian missile strikes on the energy system. According to 'Ukrenergo', these measures are becoming necessary due to the consequences of mass attacks. Hourly shutdown schedules and power restrictions will be in effect permanently.
Distribution of restrictions:
- Shutdown volumes will fluctuate from 0.5 to 3 shifts during the day, with peak restrictions in the evening hours.
- Power restrictions for industrial consumers will also be in effect continuously.
The announcement notes that the timing and volumes of restrictions may change. It is recommended to keep track of current information on the websites of regional energy suppliers in your area. Earlier, 'Ukrenergo' had already implemented power shutdown schedules due to the difficult situation in the energy system.
Unfortunately, Russian attacks have already caused outages in several regions. Energy workers are operating at the limits of their capabilities, trying to restore electricity supply. It is also important to note that Russia continues to attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure, specifically, facilities in Lviv and Vinnytsia regions have been targeted.
After mass missile attacks by Russia on Ukraine's energy system, 'Ukrenergo' is introducing restrictions on electricity consumption across the country. This situation has caused outages and forced energy workers to operate at the limits of their capabilities to restore electricity supply. The strikes continue to threaten the stability and security of Ukraine's energy systems.
